CBS let "THE CAVANAUGHS" "twist in the wind", so to speak, stretching out its episodes between 1986 and 1989, causing the creator/producer to blast CBS for the shabby treatment they gave the series (and one reason why the network lost ground to NBC and ABC at the time).

Makes me sad seeing the My Sister Sam commercial...I remember very clearly when she was killed.... Pam Dawber took her co-stars death so hard. It was awful.
