Snooky Cruz and Alvee Sese demonstrates the proper approach using a vertical insertion technique with firearms. Note that pointman performs a "Pinoy Peek" rappel technique while armed with a handgun with a larnyard to check the floor they intend to enter while the support guy uses an mp5 smg with a tension sling to support the firearm in lieu of his off-hand. His rappel set up is similar to a belay position to allow his stronghand to manipulate the firearm.

  • This is amateurish at best...

  • Great non-technical video, just shows a couple of wanna be's! Come on guys you can not be for real! Shame on you.

  • demasiado sencillo y predecible

  • ? Eh....

  • yes, there is a rope bag specifically made for tactical rappel. its usually black and good for at least 100 feet/30 meters, depending on what diameter and length of rope your using. the bag is attached to the leg where your brake hand is,and is easily detachable upon touchdown because of velcro. i guess this video is for demo purposes

  • ive seen pictures where SAS uses the same manuver so i dont now how much rubbish it is.....

  • hmm... I can see the tactical advantage of rappelling head first(not having to reveal the entire body to be able to use the gun, and observing by peaking over the top frame of the window)

But the rope itself spoils the surprise element.

They need a rope bag. Not sure where they should fasten it though?

Maybe on the chest, with the opening upwards(towards the head)?

But then it would be unsuitable for regular rappelling.

    any suggestions?

  • how bout rubbish. i'd fail all my students if they did that

  • so if he fall his head will be first then he will surely die...
