Just a simple version of Jingle Bells, I got the TAB from Banjo Hangout. It was a last minute thing: two days before Christmas I decided that I wanted to learn an easy Christmas tune and got me a tablature of Jingle Bells. Unfortunately, I didn't like the one I got... and after I went through the trouble of learning it! Then after Christmas, a couple of days ago, I got me this tab, which is simpler, but more loyal to the original tune, melody wise. Never mind that Christmas was over, I picked for many hours, trying to learn it at least before New Year's Eve and get good enough to upload a video to wish everyone a Happy New Year, while our tree was still up! And there you have it.

These days, when I learn a tune, I now practice for about a month or even more, depending on how hard it is, and then only after it sounds very good and I'm familiar with it, I then upload it. In this case, there was a rush to it, as I didn't wanna upload it a month from now, so I did it today, the best I could. Despite trying my best, there was a couple of mistakes there as far as tempo and fretting, and the fingers unsure, hesitating and a little stiff, simply because I'm not familiar with picking this tune, as I just said. So forgive me if it's not the best Jingle Bells on the banjo y'all ever heard, there's way better ones out there from what I seen... but this is the best I could and it was played from my heart to your ears. I ain't never gonna even dream of claiming to be the best anyways, lol, I just try the best I can. Anyways, I really hope that y'all had a Merry Christmas and sincerely wish everyone a Happy New Year. May 2012 be a year full of joy to everyone who wishes so. God bless.

I also dedicate this video to someone who is more family than friend, Mr. Garrard, back in Mississippi, his birthday falls on Christmas Day. Happy Birthmas, Mr. Garrard!!! Wish you the best, sir. Take care.

  • @TheMmnpa I agree. You folks need independence and self-determination as much as we here in Scotland do. I wish you English nationalists the best of luck, and sincerely hope you can take your country back, as it is being quickly lost.
