Prius Killer? 2010 Honda Insight

Let's address the elephant in the room first, shall we? Many who have seen early photographs of the 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid have dismissed it as nothing more than a carbon copy of a Toyota Prius.

These people would be wrong.

What "these people" are forgetting is what was said about the current Toyota Prius when it first debuted in the fall of 2003. "It looks like a four-door Honda CRX," they whined.

Want a good laugh? Look up the 1995 or earlier Civic and the same year Corolla. More power out of less displacement, much better looking, better gas mileage, and just all around better. I hate Toyota mostly because they took all of their fun sports cars and discontinued them. Honda has now gone that way too but at least they still build a good car and don't cut costs at the expense of quality or safety.

@CorvetteRacingFan Thank you for clearing out these people's unstable minds. To add a bit more, Insight got copied by Prius, not the other way around. Insight is cheaper, for almost the same thing. The front looks nicer, and is much better for familes who are a bit desperate for a car. And the best way to say that people should buy Insight is, You buy Prius, gas pedal jams and you go bye bye.

I have no desire to own an insight or a prius but only Honda's IMA powertrain allows you to have a manual hybrid and I will never buy an automatic anything, especially not a gay hybrid. Anyway, if you fools look it up, it is the CR-Z that is selling like crazy in Japan, not the Prius. Honda>>>>>Toyota
