Gran Turismo 4: Driving Mission 24 (5'48.929)

I use a DS2 and manual transmission on the NTSC (North American) version of the game.

This run briefly held the world record, but ProdriveGTR drove a remarkable race that made mine look amateurish and beat it by nearly half of a second (I didn't pass quickly enough to take full advantage of the AI's slipstream). The run abides by standard OLR (online racing) cleanliness rules: No contact of walls or AI; two wheels on (or above if they are airborne) the track, which includes rumble strips and concrete or asphalt runoff areas, at all times.

Im going to try all these when i get my ps2 lol... Ds2 is driving force pro wheel right? thats the one im going to buy(sold my g25)

No, a DS2 is a Dualshock 2, which is the standard PS2 controller. I would love a wheel, but I don't own one.

you can still go lower whit the ds2 but youll need a wheel for the finishing details,am sure you, as soon as you get one youll improve all your times greatly

o wow, i used a controller for years, then i got a g25 and i was slower to start with... but then after practice there is a fair bit of a difference.... well worth getting a DFGT for £70 which i am soon, my g25 was more than double that new, very intrested to see if theres much difference between the wheels, anyway keep up the good work. Do u have a link or something to any GT4 leaderboards or anything like that please? for the top time trial times cheers.
