I'm not very sure the meaning of what you say...
If you refers to the
" Natural disasters can not be avoided, We can only gladly accepted..." I can understand.
If you refers to the
" I was advocating religious zealots. " But I am an atheist ...
I pray for this world because I feel so sorry for what we have done to Nature.
I never thought pray could save my life from Natural disasters...

@personaapollo If you pray to someone, someone who you think has the power to help, then this is the same person with the same power to have stopped these tragedies.
And lets not forget those who flew the planes into the WTC also prayed......
We live in the real world - these are natural disasters. The man made disaster you referred to was fuelled by religion.
