Short Exploding Building SFX Test

Special effects test. I know it isn't perfect but I had the footage so i thought: "let's try something new!"

For a first try I think it went pretty good. But as I said: "It isn't perfect".

I used 3ds Max with the rayfire plugin for the falling debris and a 3d model of the plane was animated to fly like this.

Furthermore, in After effects I edited it all with some smoke, fire, smashing windows and I let everything track the moving camera.

Ah, thats kinda sad....

But about the Slow-Mo: Thing's slowed down tend to bring realism down a bit unfortunately. You will see minor mistakes easier than when it goes with this speed.
