  • lol very bad conversion, it is not 4.36 cubic yards, its a hell of a lot more , lol

  • Ofcourse it should be 4.36 million cubic yards.

  • Construction of Hoover Dam, also known as Boulder Dam, began in 1931 and was completed in 1936. The building process was documented through the Bureau of Reclamation under the Department of the Interior. The dam consists of 3.33 million m3 of concrete, it is 200m wide at its base 15m at the top. It is 221.4m high and 379.2 long. It dems up the 170km long lake Meade with an area of 640 km2. Electrical out put today is just over 2 mega watts. Put in simple terms, a marvelous project!

  • can we get those facts in english/standard form?? No metric crap

  • 4.36 cubic yards of concrete went into building it.

It is219 yards wide at its base and16.5 yards wide at the top. It is 242 yards high and 414.7 yards long.

Lake Mead is 105.6 miles long with an area of 247 sq miles. I hope I calculated it correct and I beg your parden for the long delay in answering you. Hope it was to your satisfaction.
