One last thing, it frankly hurts me when Asians are lumped into this giant "model minority myth" that implies that Asians are "second best" to the racist white system. No one ever takes into account the MARGINALIZED brown Southeast Asians, with no identity and untainted history to look into (same as our African brothers and sisters). Again, the Japanese and Koreans (and Indians/South Asians) have a completely different and privileged experience from brown Southeast Asian folks like me.

First of all, do you think for the black people who live in south asia "colorism" feels different than "racism?" No.

I agree. I'm half black. I know there are some people out there who are never satisfied. As far as Obama is concerned, he's not really such a good person.
