(03/30/09) REDDING, CT (USA) - A Redding man is making headlines after his home theater landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records for 2009.

Jeremy Kipnis was listed in the Gamers Edition of the book after creating a dedicated screening, listening, and gaming room with a video system capable of nearly 10 Mega Pixels and a sound system that utilizes 8.8 channels. The image and sound surpass the typical IMAX Experience and 5.1 through 7.1 audio systems seen in other home theaters and most commercial movie theaters.

"There is a quality of experience that you get in this room, with the technologies that I have brought together, which is not duplicated anywhere else in the world!", Kipnis says.

He states that the technology in his $6 Million KSS - Ciné Beta home theater and recording studio gives the viewer a first-person experience and recreates the essence of the live shows that he attended as a child.

And that sensation can be yours. His award winning home theater designs begin at $300,000 and extend well beyond $10 Million, should you desire a Colosseum with ultimate picture and sound fidelity. Shortly, he hopes to make a version of his Kipnis Studio Standard - (KSS) that is affordable and easy to setup for shoppers heading to their local Wal-mart, Target or Macy's.

  • I Live in that town

  • @IntermittentSprocket

    You're a spectacular idiot.

You think this guy isn't educated on the acoustical properties of his room, right down to the processors that can replicate perfect studio environements, and even adjusted the placement of the soudn within the room?

There's so much high-tech at work in this room, it would make yoru feeble head implode.

The only relevent laughing occuring, is that which is directed at you.

The SNELL speakers are worth more than a whole flea-market.

  • I lost all respect for this C_NT after they did a segment about President Obama not too long ago. Everyone else showed respect when talking about him and addressed him as President Obama. This bitch kept referring to him as Mr. Obama. Whether you like him or not I think ALL presidents (at least mine) have earned that respect! I wrote the station and as expected, no one replied. Needless to say channel 12 news is no longer my news station.

  • Tell you what go to REAL professional cinema and youll see how the speakers are arranged how the seating is arranged acoustical treatment and the projection booth, LOL 6million more like $6 dollars from flea market!

  • Dont you mean the KipnisSpamTheater! You have no clue what an IMAX cinema looks like and if you wanted to do what IMAX is you should have done it JUST LIKE AN IMAX! And you didnt even go half the distance! Just throw it all in! Yeah right thats why its all cluttered around, no style at all!
