Video Game Violence Documentary Part 1

This is a documentary I completed in December 2006 and started filming for it a month and a half before.

At the start of the project I lost the idea on what I wanted to focus on within the game area so it took a while to get started.

This was my first documentary, so while I attempted to stick with the conventions of a documentary (and for the most part I believe I have) it is by no means a tip-top job.

But thats the idea isn't it: to get better at things as you make more of them.

More documentary's will surely come when my university course kicks off.

In my opionon, most theories about Video Game violence is rubbish - if you can't tell the difference between fact and fiction at 12 - there is something seriously wrong with you - I have learning difficulties and when I was 12 I watched wrestling ALOT and still do ! But I didn't go around hitting people with chairs ! Violent images and video games don't create monsters - reality creates monsters - watch the 10' O clock news most nights - its more violent then any video game !

The part he says about video games looking so real that it confuses people is just bullshit. Anyone who can't tell it's just a game is too dumb to work out how to play the game in the first place.

I couldn't care less, but I feel insulted by the fact that games have evolved over the last decade and have more 'content'. If by content you mean, features (working or not), disregard this. If by content you mean stuff like a good story line, story telling, character development, depth. Then please go wash your mouth with soap.

theres not much difference between 13 to 15 you should only be aware if ur children doesnt know right from wrong but if he does know it it wouldnt be much of a problem
