Drone Theory: Blue Box, Upper, Rainbow Machine, DMM

So here is what is going on:

One note goes into MXR Blue Box, which slits the signal into fuzz and the same note -2 octaves. Into... Fuzzhugger Upper, which is set to an octavia setting, which takes the fuzzy original note and raises it an octave but keeps the -2 octave intact. This is then put into the Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine... which is set to polyphonically add a 3rd up, and a third that is an octave high is also slightly mixed in. This creates four notes, two tonics and two thirds. This two note chord (and by theory it is still a chord if it contains the 3rd and tonic) is then fed into an EHX Deluxe Memory Man which adds some chorus and delay.
