@Stormyweld05 Yeah I can't agree more, I must of been 4 when this was on. And vaguely remember it. The thing is with this and many other programs from the 80's, even the cartoons, is the tension, and the sense that something ominus is going to happen.

Same here. I'm 30 and only remember bits and bobs from this show, however, I don't remember it being this grown-up. To be honest, if it weren't for the fact that I have a life outside of the internet I could quite happily sit here and watch all the episodes on YouTube at once. I, too, am totally gripped!
I think that modern-day kid's shows underestimate kids' intelligence; they're too 'peek-a-boo' and 'cute'.
