@SoulWheat thank you for the comment but im sad to say this game will not be an exception as far as stuff being lost in translation...but i will still try to get the key points of the plot translated to the best of my ability...

edit: by this I mean 'fairy light' was depicted as 'Fairy Light', although, I'm not sure. Japanese has only one font case, so it isn't an issue. :) I don't remember off hand. Either way, your new font looks awesome!

One suggestion I'd make is capitolizing ability names to match Star Ocean: The Second Story. I believe the game represented more or less in upper case. I'd play the game again and take note of formatting, that way you can keep it seemless. If you need a formatting guide, I'm sure us fans could be of help. :)

Damn, I planned to study Japanese as my minor and I was like... the first thing I'm gonna do when I get fluent is translate this game. ^^ Sadly, I sucked at it (mostly study habits) and I dropped it. :P

But yeah. I'm so happy someone is actually putting effort into translating this game. Just so happy that you are doing it because I've been waiting for ages to be able to play and know the story. I wish the best for you! ^^

Awesome !! This is the only Star Ocean I didn't finish, I'd like so much to play it in english. Keep it up ! Just a menu translation would be great !
