20 FPS gives you a larger size of video, and 30 FPS gives you a faster frame rate...Which I personally don't like, its too smooth. 20 FPS is a little choppy, but I think its better than being too smooth. Personally I like 640 x 280 at 20 FPS, but its your choice.
Depends on how much memory you buy. You can purchase a 4GB SD Memory Card for $3.00 on the internet, and $12.00 at a store. You can also purchase 16 GB, or more if you need it.
i picked up a 4gb card at bestbuy for about 12.99 great deal. I also paid 130.00 for the camera and 50.00 for 2yr waranty came out to be around 200.00 awesome camera. I wish i could figure out all the features
they are both the same, if your taking a video like sports in which your subject more in motion, use 320x240-30 fps, and if a scenery like landscape/nature, use 640x480 LP-20fps, you can capture more details. both of this mode you can save memory on a590is.
u get about 5 minutes on a 512sd. id recommend a 4-8gb sd card for videos . depending on how much u wanna shoot at the time. ive just ordered a 8gb card myself

Well I like to take pictures that involve water so you never know. OH and the warranty covers everything even if it's your own fault for 2yrs.

50 dollars for a warranty? I'd rather just be extra careful. =|

I love this camera. Worth every penny although I spent almost 200 including the 4gb memory stick. =]

I just got one seems like a nice cam. between price matching and $35 worth of Best Buy coupons I paid $85 for it. Can't beat that.
