  • go job pal, I have a question. I have sony AHVCH cam and when I edit a video in sony vegas and render it, I loose the quality alot. MAYBE I DON"T know what format I SHOLD RENDER AS. CAN you plz hepl me with that?

  • hey omarock,

I don't know how sony vegas works. I edited it with Studio 11 form Pinnacle, where you can edit and render AVCHD by selecting HDV(1024 or 720p) and H264 (MPEG4) resolution and codecs. So pay attention,, if you can select any HDV settings for export or render within sony vegas too.

    Hope this helps.

  • get ulea video studio 11 .5 plus...

  • thanks Germanvista, three are option in sony vrgas that matches you mention. Now days, I am looking for a program that can edit mkv container. i have Hd movies and want to edit them. CAn you help me find a editing program? thanks again.

  • Nero 8 HD version can also help. Open Nero Vision:-

    1. Make DVD

    2. Add video files

    3. Then, don't click 'next', instead use 'export' option

    4. Choose format MPEG-2, Profile HDTV 1080i

    5. Then just export to your desired location.

(normal Nero8 Ultra or Ultimate won't help much, please download the HD version, they updated it) but Vegas is best so far, with DivX 6.8.3 codec it works more better.

  • I have the new Canon HG10 HD camcorder. I am going to purchace Pinnacle Stdio 11 Plus. I was hoping it would look better than this converted. This doesn't look bad, but it's not as clear as I thought. It could be the lighting in the room and stuff. I wonder if they have any better codec's than the mpeg4? Or will that be the only one that works with YouTube?

  • yeah that could help. I will try that and hope to get better results. Thanks alot for ur help.
