@MeanKno Christianity in practice is Natural Law. Study Natural Law, and you'll find that by it's very own nature it can not be theocratic. Sharia Law, on the other hand, *IS* theocratic. And yes, the Bible can be misinterpreted, but not everybody misinterprets the Bible.

Why do people insist on following the teachings of people that lived over 3000 years ago? People were much more uncouth and primitive then than we are now and our morals are much more refined, thanks to secularism.
This is the reason Christians don't stone their children for disobedience (Deut. 21:18-21), endorse slavery (Levit. 25:44-46), have rapists marry their victims (Deut. 22:28-29), etc. The Bible is a primitive book and shouldn't be used as a reference for morality by any sane person.
