I do agree that if you are an indigenous Taiwanese person, you are not Chinese. The tribe members are more related to Polynesians and Fillipinos as i was told by my Chinese teacher and read on wikipedia.

Yeah but the actual name of the country Taiwan is The Republic of China, because its the remnant of the government before the communist takeover. Learn your history! You wanna know something? I'm completely American and yet I know this because I actually like history and my bro is from Taipei.
