My Min Schnauzer does the exact same thing with our cat...but there is a lot more barking involved and usually claws come out.

Well , maybe the owner trained the dog to not bite back the parrots , a single canine or feline saliva is already quite deadly to a parrots

I don't understand why dogs and cats are scared of parrots, especially when they are much bigger than the bird. Maybe it's because the bird is far more intelligent?
