@bloodbeat1 nah its always better to watch the film of things then read the book. otherwise the film is going to be really lame. like the golden compass im sure i would have liked that film a lot more if i hadnt read the book. but then the film really was crap

@jtpcrew no dont watch it! im also reading it for my a levels, the film is totally different to the book, the only things that are the same are the beginnings and the names of the characters- watching it will just confuse you, my english teacher advised me against it.

@bloodbeat1 I'm reading the book for my a levels, and im half way through, and i wanted to see how they did the first scene, and obviously the books are always better, but this film looks really good. Imma try and finish the book quickly to watch this!!

Really interesting interview... I think Jed was half expecting to be stabbed, but kind of felt he had no choice...
I saw this movie when it came out I believe and I have to tell you, in my circle of friends I am the only one that really enjoys it. Its truly mesmerizing, and beautiful almost, I would like to know if there are more out there like it.

novel is better than the film so i suggest watching the film after you've read it:)
