Makabayang Duktor Theme Song: "Bagong Lunas" By Edge Band

Makabayang Duktor (MD) Foundation is a charity Foundation founded by Doctors Willie and Liza Ong, with Mr. Boy Abunda as their Honorary Chairperson.

The MD Foundation has helped over 100 poor Filipino families and saved 20 lives already using their P20K to save a life template (US$450). Patients shown are from the doctors' public service TV show, Makabayang Duktor, which aired at NBN-4 and RPN-9 in 2007.

Dr. Ong is a columnist for the Philippine STAR, and is the founder of MIND, an advocacy and support group for doctors.
Drs. Willie and Liza Ong founded the Makabayang Duktor Foundation, with Mr. Boy Abunda as their honorary chairperson.
