who is screaming at 0:15? And who's hair is that?
-
@poopsikinz no they do not lock faster if its shoter thinner hair actually it is better to have thicker dreads to make the lock process shoter
-
how do they look so good? do they lock faster if its shorter hair? i have much longer hair. they're about a month old but dont look nearly as good as yours. i still have them in elastics. i'm lazy so i dont plam roll or use wax all the time

what is the softest method of maintenance? my dreads are knoting nicly but are not becoming round any advice?
kdreadgirl420 1 year ago
Yea, the softest maintenance would be to try and pull a few groupings of hairs back into the loc to get the rounded look you want, then stop with the crochet hook. The more you use it the tighter and thicker the locs get. So what you want would be more like repair then maintenance. Just take care of your needs and even a slightly larger crochet hook should be fine. If your interested in some of mine, send me a message. The smaller hooks work better for any repairs or maintenance.

I just had my hair dreaded with a crochet needle, and its been about 4 days now. i've got some questions.
how long will it take for them to become mature? mine are starting to get a little frizzy as well is, that normal or should a get some wax to roll them together? how long should i wait to wash them too? your help is greatly appreciated man!

Frizz is normal 4 some peoples dread locs I suggest the softest method of maintenance and loose hair gathering when there are enough loose hairs to gather into small bunches to knot back into the nearest dread loc Some might pull back each loose hair for picture day but on average if hairs are popping out a lot then this method will help them to stabilize more naturally Wash the scalp as much as needed and the dreads up to a few months Every wash can make loose hairs so a hair net is often used
