confirmed to me
that he is for

the creation of

a North American Union
similar to the European Union,
and to which a sovereign Quebec
would be signed up.

Evidently,
there are a number of
contradictions.

How can we
be sovereign or
independent

when we would be subjected
to the imperatives of a
North American Union

and a loss of sovereignty?

Also, how could that serve the interests of Quebec
when the very idea of a North American Union
comes straight out of a consortium of
multinational firms and globalist think-tanks?

This is clear from a reading
of the following document:

Building a
North American Community

published by the
Council on Foreign Relations.

It's an idea sponsored by
companies like General Electric,
Campbell's Soup,
and Power Corporation.

In reality, Gilles
Duceppe wants
to give Quebec

to a consortium
of multinationals
and globalist
think tanks.

He does not want
to create a free and
independent nation
of Quebec.

@mackraceing I agree. This is all just positioning for the big wall to go around all of North America. Quebec independence is merely a mechanism to achieve it. Obviously Jack Layton knows the plan as well because his first order of business as the official opposition is to push for a referendum whereby Quebec can secede with a 50% + 1 vote rather than by a clear majority of 60% in favour. We are headed for some very dark times int his country, what is left of it.

@JanBee1122 - [1] secession is illegal in Canada, that's the Constitutional law; the Supreme Court LIED in 1998; [2] it lied was to cover up that Quebec has NEVER tried to secede in either referendum - read the ballots: the question sought a mandate to replace the form of government in ALL of Canada, which is a coup d'etat, not secession; a THREAT of UDI was reserved as blackmail to force all of Canada to accept the new form of government modeled on the EEC-EU system, basis of world government.

Je trouve ce vidéo démagogique même si je trouve que tu as en partie raison. Démagogique pourquoi? Parce que le SPP est en branle depuis + longtemps que le moment où Gilles Duceppe a répondu à ta question... La preuve, tu fais référence à l'Union Nord américaine dénoncée par Lou Dobbs, le "anchor" de CNN, en 2006... Mais en toute honnêteté, je préfèrerais de loin un Québec souverain dans une Union qui de toute manière va se passer, que Harper qui me dicte la voie...
