At the "...let's just shut UP" you can hear just how much she means it. The 'fuck you' Emily shifting briefly from rant to plea; I think, intoxication or pretension or anything else aside, she legitimately just wants the music being played to be heard by people there who are willing to listen. Things she's said about creating "Knives" touch on how heartbreaking and difficult it was for her to do, it makes me furious the people there couldn't acknowledge that and give her some fucking respect.

I feel her 100% on this one. Whenever I play shows, they're usually at shitty bars and usually have of the bar pretends im not even there because they're too caught up in meaningless conversations!

i think she's awesome. how is this any worse than all of you hypocrites who drink and such all the freaking time at parties, rambling on about girls and boys and babble? at least she's spewing intelligent ideas. anyone who scoffs at her words of wisdom should take a look at themselves first.
