  • what heads did you have on this drum?

how was it tuned? bottom very high, top high?

    did you use any muffling?

    thanks

  • Remo emperor head

    Medium TOP, Very High Botton.

Felt a little pasted inside the top.

  • @zepedrorock I know - If only all drums came for free!

Since posting, I've renovated the rusty old Supraphonic - the pitted chrome peeled off easily enough with a Stanley blade, I left the chrome on the central raised bead as it was in decent condition, & then covered it either side of the bead with a very thin turquoise sparkle vinyl film, polished all the steel lugs, & replaced the bent bottom hoop (the drum wasn't out of round, after all). It now looks top, & sounds better than ever :-)

  • @neixavier Beleza, valeu pelas dicas.

  • @RedBryn Damn, you're lucky!

  • Hey man, Do you think the black magic snare performs well? I need a snare to do my ludwig zep kit some justice.

  • my favorite snare! try to tune it a little bit lower and you'll get bonham sound (:

  • My opinion, best sounding snare ever created for rock music!!

  • That Bassdrum gives me chills :o

  • Isn't this snare what the drummer from Interpol uses as well?
