You are right. Sorry to shock you. I did not take much time, I must confess, in coming up with some of the chord progression for some of the songs I altered, so out of the simple chord progression came simple out of tune melodies. I felt that to be truly an Alternative Melody, the chord progressions would also have to be alternative, or completely different. So perhaps I chose a wrong way of expressing what I am doing. Instead of saying Alternative Melody, perhaps I should say Alternative Music.

Listen Mr. Jairosoft, just so you know, you aren't "composing alternative melodies." What you are doing is looking through a waste of money lyrics book (the lyrics to every song are online) and making incredibly bland and shocking childish chord progressions while singing disgustingly out of tune nonsense. If you actually wanted to compose alternative melodies to a song you wouldn't have to change the chords. You could stay within the relative key and change everything. Look up music theory man.
