Animation of four hours of ITWS (Integrated Terminal Weather System) data, of a severe storm near the New York City area, on Oct. 11, 2007. The data used to produce this is SWIM (System Wide Information Management - http://www.swim.gov ) compliant. This demo shows some early results of the the FAA's SWIM initiative. The soundtrack was based on a aural vantage point close to New Rochelle NY. Note the tornadoes; they (and all of the other weather events), were real.
