Harry Markopolos broke the Bernie Madoff $50 Billion Ponzi Scheme case wide open. His comments in this interview about the corruption in the United States at many levels inside the government and financial sector keep you on the edge of your seat. He is pictured above in Congressional testimony. Many networks picked up coverage of this dramatic testimony & televised it nationally.

Currently a book, documentary and feature film movie are in the planning stages about what Harry did in courageously alerting and exposing the Madoff fraud.

  • Harry is smart and stupid at the same time. He clearly doesn't understand the scope of the problem if he thinks "I like the federal reserve-let them continue to create monetary policy...". What a fool.

  • I bailed at "I like gov't, and I like a strong gov't". And I've read the guy's book. Jeeez - what a letdown. "I'm a friend of gov't" At least he's honest about no change.

  • You never heard of Ron Paul? He's currently taking on the Federal Reserve. Rand Paul, Peter Schiff (when he becomes Senator) Alan Grayson? These are the people you should be hoping get into power not Palin.

  • He likes Obama who had a very short political history. Obama talks the talk but he has no history of going after powerful people. Only prominent one was Gov Palin who went after nat gas company for fixing Alaska pipeline contracts and powerful GOP enablers in her own party. Question - is she ready for the national scene? Other than that there is no one prominent with a kick ass record. Like him I am still looking for a good leader.

  • Well said. Continue educating...

  • The truth is that we have been tricked for centuries by these bankers to believe in the systems that they engineer. Unfortunate that we still fall for it, eh? We have been tricked into blaming/hating our fellow man instead of looking to the real problem: central banks and the continuation of unsound fiat money. Its a cycle of ignorance that is reaching its height as we speak. And the cycle continues...:-)

  • I agree, but IF there is a bank somewhere, then a certain number of people are going to have to regulate it. A govt. is merely a reflection of its people's values. We put them in charge. What does that say about us taxpayers?

  • There is NO reason for a central bank, period. it is an institution based on the desire to control and tyrranize a populace. Just abolish it. Anyone hired to "oversee" it or 'regulate" it will be corrupted in no time. They are CRIMINALS of the highest order and deserve to be in prison, not "regulated".

  • True, but he also said he wants it regulated by govt. You cleverly left that part out of your quote.

  • agreed, same as glen beck
