Well, I was being rather light when I made that comment about the tambourining. I know it's not like James HAS to do it but I figured since you're usually the one seeing him do it live....
And, yeah, I just wanted to know when and why they changed James doing the studio back-up vocals to Mike and John. I dunno, maybe James should just do them all?

as far as i know is not james' job, at least no in the studio, and mike and john doing back vocals it's ben like that since falling into infinity, and actually although not credited i think petrucci does back-up in the silent man, and he does does it in live perfomances of that song.
