In Memoriam Miep Gies, 1909 2010. When Otto Frank received the news that Anne and Margot had died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, Miep Gies was with him in the office. In this video she tells how she gave Otto Frank the diaries of Anne Frank. She had saved these papers from the moment the people in hiding had been arrested.

I love the story of Anne Frank. One of the most interesting holocaust love stories I've ever read. Many years ago I taped the ABC networks video of Anne Frank and I still watch it today. There is just something so connected and beautiful about the bonds of each family and the heart and soul of a young girl's life in hiding sprawled out into words in diary form. Anne is an inspiration to many still today.
