The full lineup for the 2011 Coachella music festival has been announced.  Headliners for the event include Kings of Leon, Kanye West, the Strokes and Arcade Fire.  Coachella organizers have posted detailed information about all of the hundreds of performers slated to take the stage during the festival, which starts on Friday, April 15 and wraps up on Sunday, April 17, 2011.


Additional performers include the Black Keys, Interpol, the Chemical Brothers, Crystal Castles, Ce Lo Green, Animal Collective, Erykah Badu, Neon Trees and Cage the Elephant.  According to MTV, the 2011 Coachella festival will also feature some "classic indie band reunions and comebacks," including Duran Duran, London Suede and Big Audio Dynamite.


Coachella, officially known as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, is an annual three-day event held in Indio, California, on the grounds of the Empire Polo Club.  Tickets for this year's Coachella festival will go on sale on Friday, January 21, 2011.  A three-day weekend pass will cost $269.  If you plan on camping for the festival on-site, camping passes will be sold for $75.  In addition, visitors to this year's Coachella festival will be able to rent luxury "safari tents."  The tents, which will set you back $5000 for the first two people, are fully furnished and have air conditioning and private restrooms.  They also come with two all access "guest" wristbands.
