@Socioistic Ibanez made great guitars all through the 70s & 80s like the Roadstar, Artist Series & the Blazer. Better than anything Fender were making at the time. The Tube Screamer is still one of the greatest distortion pedals ever made. If you're a real bass person looking for something that sounds like a string vibrating against a plank of wood rather than a DX7 facsimile of a bass guitar you can do a lot worse than getting a Blazer.
