This video contains images from 3 of Robin's galleries, 'watercolours'; 'derelicts'; and 'supplementary'.

Ever the eclectic, Robin Burgesse strives to envision the unusual in day to day things with images that are both intimate and rare.

Working with watercolours, I'll  build the image up, gently adding stronger pigment by degrees...always leaving the images highlights as 'untouched' paper...a very focused process.

Startlingly Vibrant, Menacingly Nostalgic! is how one enthusiastic viewer describes these images. Each is painted in iridescent, metallic and fluorescent acrylics on a canvas that has been roughed-up with acrylic gel and a palette knife.
