  • my symbicort isn't working for me any more =( it was great at first but i know when i go back they will increase it...its getting kind of frustrating i just want it to get better and i looked up the side affects of symbicort and one of the side affect was worsting asthma....I have to ask a lot of questions at my next appointment.

  • @IamMusic247 i'm sorry to hear that. i'd be interested to know what your doctor has to say at your next appointment. keep me updated please. thank you

  • I'm using symbicort also 2 puffs twice a day and at the same time for emergency... but it isn't look like yours... i think yours is cooler than mine. I need to forcefully inhale the powder and I super its side effect, needs to gargle every after I used symbicort. >.<

  • @msjefferson224 hmmm that's odd. maybe ask for the "red one" i know several drugs are different based on what color they are. the specifics for the red one are "160/4.5" and it has 120 puffs in it

  • @dannyledwith21 yeah it was red symbicort turbohaler... but yours is easy to use 'cuz it's spray no need to inhale forcefully. Sometimes during my asthma attack I have difficulties both exhaling and inhaling and my chest hurts when I take a deep breath. T_T not just that I also have some side effects like oral thrush... and i thought that your symbicort is better than my mine.

  • @msjefferson224 that sounds a lot like the pulmicort turbohaler to me. i don't like that either!

  • Thanks for sharing!! It makes me feel better such a young hip cute guy is on this too! :-)

  • I tried symbicort for the first time today. Working well so far and no problems to report. Finest inhaler I have ever used so far! I hope it continuously work this good.

  • hi im planning to try symbicort but i have a inhaler but when ever i use it, it doesnt do its job would that medication help me? also how much is it?

  • @Dannyledwith21 I suffer from Asthma I'm not sure if my Asthma is as controlled as I think. I can run during track practice but I use my inhaler before practice and I feel good my breathing starts to get heavy after I run a lot and I have to slow it down by breathing through my nose and out my mouth. I've been having a lot of problems with my Asthma I'm on Ventolin HFA it's a rescue inhaler I'm not on any controller meds though.

  • Thanks for the info, I know you did this last year, but it's very helpful for me now.

  • no, don't use Symbicort for an asthma attack and please bring your inhaler with you everywhere or your epi pen. It is so dangerous to leave home without those things.

  • @dannyledwith21 nah i know what he means i have the same thing (im in canada) its exaclty like pulmicort but its red and its symbicort

  • I have asthma as well ahaha. You're cute :)
