Charles Calello, former member of The 4 Seasons and arranger/producer of some of the most memorable music of our time. After five decades of writing music and conducting orchestras around the world, Calello continues to hold the Billboard magazine record for the musical arranger with more Top-Ten Hits than anyone in the history of pop music.

  • Please, if Calello is still alive, you worked with Lincoln Chase, who I knew well.

I want to know what he died of in 1980 at the young age of 54. He is in a book I wrote.

    Thanks,

  • Hey Charlie-you still "da MAN". Looking great after all these years. All the best...

  • That sounds like "Poverty Train" in the first clip, is there a full video of that performance anywhere?

  • Mr. Calello, thank you for all the great music you've played such a crucial part in creating! And how fitting that you even merit a mention in the hit broadway musical, "Jersey Boys."

  • Thanks, Charles for all of the great music and all of the memories!

  • man, really happy to see this and have another reminder of your great talent

folks may be interested to hear our interview on the frank truth website

  • Charles - Over the years, there were a number of songs by various artists that I was just drawn to by the melodies and arrangements. A few years ago I found your website and realized that you were the common factor in all those songs. This is a great compilation and shows the impact you've had on popular music over the past 50 years. Thanks for posting it for us to enjoy anytime. Any chance you'll record and release any of the instrumentals or vocals by the orchestra and your son?
