Most used cars here are fairly affordable. You can own a very nice American or European car for under 10 grand. The reason why I bought the Escort was because I needed something cheap to drive around while I finished my Volvo 240 project car. I plan on selling the Ford soon, it's a terrible car to drive but it's reliable and cheap. It has heat and a/c what more could you want. The car also is slightly rusting in certain areas.

Okey, but the escort is known here for being a cheap car that rust's away prettys fast. But that won't be a prob over there you live.

The more expensive europan cars has good quality like Volvo, BWM and MB but they are like i said more expensive as you know.

I like old american cars from 50's to 90's. But i'll have to stick to the avrage european cars when im buying one. American cars are very expensive to own here.

I only paid 1 thousand dollars for the Ford Escort and around 1,300.00 for my Volvo. Both of those cars were very cheap. I find that European cars are better built, more reliable and more fun to drive, many also do better on gas. I like the styling and handling of the European cars. Only recently have American cars even gotten close to the quality and craftsmanship of foreign vehicles.
