it doesn't damage the guitar, dipping it in all that water, does it?

@RyWhitakerGuitarist Oh yes it does if you don't know what to do before you put it in water. Any water getting into or onto wood is a terrible idea, the woods have been kiln dried before being used as guitar wood, any water touching the wood will be sucked up like a sponge as it would be if it were still a tree.

@outofthisswirled Okay, but as long as you do kiln dry the guitar wood before hand, it's perfectly fine?

@RyWhitakerGuitarist No friend, do NOT get the wood wet EVER if you do you'll know why, best of luck don't try it on a good guitar if your not sure what your doing.
