You can do all that (and better) with google. Yahoo search engine is not as sharp as google. Do a test yourself: search for the same item in each engine separately, and you'll see that they both turn out very different results, with google usually retrieving the more accurate or closer results than yahoo.
I mean just about everyone I know uses the phrase "Why don't you Google that?" but I started with Yahoo, and I love Yahoo just as much now as I did nine years ago. It's always been extremely accessible, I get news overviews, I have mail freedom, they have reliable travel directions, and I can personalize it. I mean what more could I ask for?

Not to rain on Google's parade...
