Brendan Malone was the architect of "The Jordan Rules" in the late 80s - rules of defense designed to shut down MJ. Now as an assistant with Orlando, he has developed a similar set of rules to try to shut down The Black Mamba.

no one can stop jordan or kobe... they analyse the game too much... lebron kinda just uses his strength and speed to get around/through ppl.. so if u had a guy stronger faster and bigger than lebron.. u have him stopped... kobe and mj on the other hand can do watever they want with their amazing foot work and IQ

@aeromatik7 cant do the Jordan Rules in this era due to the soft rules. the closes team to do that was the celtics(physical defense) and they shut Kobe down over the last 3 games of the 08 finals. shot poorly in game 1 as well. had 1 good game and 1 decent game. kobe does not like contact. his former laker teammate talked about taht back in 05.

@GoGoGomy How old are you?12? Just started watchin ESPN highlighs of Lebron and his dunks? Clearly you don't know shit. Jordan is FAR more superior to Kobe don't buy these bull shit "Kobe Rules." Kobe gets shut down a lot more then people think. He has missed more then 13 shots more then 20 times this season. Lebron is at 7. Lebron is UNSTOPABBLE. Kobe isn't. Make him a volume shooter and the rest is cake.
