Eco-designer Oliver Heath gives useful tips on creating a healthy, stylish and eco-friendly home.
The UK's leading bed manufacturer, Silentnight Beds, has enlisted the help of award-winning TV eco-interior designer and architect, Oliver Heath, to promote its eco-credentials.
Oliver regularly features in hit television home improvements shows including; House To Home, Home Front and Changing Rooms, has been signed up by the bed manufacturer to give tips to create a more eco-friendly but still stylish home.
At Silentnight, we've just launched our most environmentally friendly bed yet, the PocketZing3 featuring EcoComfort Fibreā¢. With our bed recycling scheme and FSC accreditation, we're aiming to provide eco-friendly beds and mattresses for consumers who are concerned about the environment and maintaining a healthy, green home.
The recycling scheme was born out of research by Silentnight earlier this year, which discovered that in the UK alone, 2100 beds a month are sent to landfill. If you were to stack those mattresses on top of one another, they'd be as high as the 2717ft Burj Tower in Dubai.
