Pastor Durrell Watkins on the killing of diplomat John Terry in Montego Bay, Jamaica

John Terry, 65, who was honorary consul to the British High Commission in Jamaica, was found murdered at his Montego Bay home on Wednesday, September 9th, local time.

It was reported that his severely beaten body was discovered with a cord and an item of clothing tied around his neck. The death was confirmed by Britain's Foreign Office.

The Reverend Doctor Durrell Watkins, Senior Pastor of Sunshine Cathedral, comments.

Jamaica is getting, and deserves, a lot criticism over its high crime rates, high homocide rate and the intense, genocidal homopobia that is rampant there.
