@321cheeseman Havent played other castlevanias. Are the bosses in this game tough? imho they put a pretty old school style resistance and you get hammered unless you know exactly what to do. Well okay, with the exception of the water mage who just takes a beating.

@Frojoemorrison Yeah, I always thought Bloodlines was a much better game myself.
Super Castlevania IV is good, and I love its music and atmosphere, but the gameplay always felt really slow, the level design never seemed very creative or inspired, and the bosses barely put up a fight.
Bloodlines is fast paced, action packed, and always throwing new content and cool visual effects at you. It's fucking GREAT, but no one seems to notice it.

This is great! I always thought this game was greatly superior to Super Castlevania IV, but history and popular opinion have not matched up with me lol

...And nowadays i hear people who want to become better combatants in the Terraria game should pick up their Castlevanias and 'practice'. :D

such a cool video. thanks for making it!

Awesome video!!! And the info about the game and ST too. I sure hope you make more of this videos with other Castlevania titles...

yea, but what i meant is, you should say the both stories.
cause they are a lot different
Do the hidden songs actually play during the game some how, or are they only playable through the options menu?

@Number1StarSB If I recall correctly, they can be accessed through the options menu, and then only via cheat code.

wrong, dracula was defeated at least 2 other times in castlevania series: johnathan morris and charlotte aulin.
and julius belmont in 1999 killed him for ever... allowing his rebirth into Soma Cruz.

Actually, it's correct, since in the original Dracula book, it was Quincey Morris who delivered the killing blow to Dracula. And I believe that Bloodlines, tried to make Bram Stoker's novel a canon of the Castlevania universe. That's why they made Jonathan Morris (Quincey's son, one of the two main characters in this game). As for Castlevania canon, the "final" defeat of Dracula was indeed that, at the hands of Julius Belmont in 1999.
