Eric Ladizinsky is a physicist & adjunt professor at Loyola Marymount University. Eric takes time out from building multiple-universe machines to teach.
@VeronikaZemanova69 so, that whole thing about 186,000 feet per second, and light year measurements is a mistake too? Did you attend his class at Loyola?
@LettuceReason The faster a low gravity system (small) moves in a high gravity field (large), the higher its energy and the slower the time passes within the system (like a plane circling around earth). When you speed any matter up to the speed of light, you need infinite energy and the time within the system stands still. Not so on the outside. Photons have the resting mass of zero and they carry a finite energy at the speed of light (infinite times zero can be finite).
When we lose that sense of wonder and stop asking questions is when we are overworked and trying to survive rather than being allowed to live. Thank the bankers for world oppression and suppression. Please keep teaching and thank you. All Are One.
"if you traveled at the speed of light, you would be everywhere in the universe at the same time"? Then why do astro physicists describe galaxies that are so many 'light years' away? This explains the "adjunct" part.
