After Seeing the Class 31 arrive at orton mere off of the ECML i went with tom noakes to see his model railway (PPRR) which is still being built although profress is good.

I've still got my Smokey Joe train. It took me 2 months to save up for him when I was 12.

Is that the Bachmann Deltic? If so realy good to see it running and being used. i have no time for collectors who just keep them in a box for selling on auction sites keeping the prices artificialy high against genuine modelers!
Shame on the NRM for encouraging this dispicable practice.

The WPR Saddle Tank Is Tom's, although it is onloan to me for a week whilst my LNER B1 Mayflower is at his layout for a week.
