nice sounding bike! ...im looking into some sideshots for my 94 FXSTS, how did you change the baffles? was it very difficult?

@TheDiggem13 Is it just me or are blue pipes beautiful. I love em.

cameraman is making me dizzy.

Sounds beautiful! It's hard to tell the difference on Youtube between baffles/no baffles/quite baffles :)

hmm it isn't a lot different with or without them
even the quiet ones have that nice tone to them

Rejet that carb and it will help keep pipes from bluing. Get a dyno-jet kit, should be able to get the size of the jet you need from the manufacture of the pipes. They have a polish you can get to help rub out the bluing...

@TheDiggem13 The pipes are blue because they are normally covered by a heat shield that has been removed in the video. Go to Vance and Hines website and look up side shots for 04-06 sportster and you can see them with the shields.

great video demonstrating the differences between the 3. Have you noticed any performance differences with the increased back pressure? I'm thinking of adding quiet baffles to my short shots, but wondering if I'll need to have it re-tuned/remapped. I have the SE race tuner, heavy breather and short shots.

@dgmphotography My bike has a carburetor. It seems to need a little tuning but I don't think the pipes really affected it. I didn't really notice any performance differences with the pipes. I do prefer the quite baffles. They can be almost as loud as the baffles if you want them to be and they are quieter at idle.

Hey, great video. I have the shortshots staggered and was thinking about going to these quiet baffles. What is you overall opinion on them? Do you like them or the stock better?

Thanks, I like the quiet baffles better... The bike is still loud when you want it to be but its a bit quieter at idle and when your barely on the throttle. The quiet baffles have a deeper more rich sound to them.
