@jaydiarae - I'm not some huge Beyonce supporter, but I think you're probably not giving Beyonce her full due. Not saying you're robbing her, but probably undercrediting her just a notch.

Vocally, she is impressive and talented and soulful and has great range. She's just tuned her vocals to have more pop appeal.

But Jasmine Sullivan is just such a virtuoso, so transcendent, so sublime and her voice is so smoky, so rich and luscious that I can easily see why you'd say that she's on another level

choreography and a stunning live production of her songs. she also has a super tandem "the mommas" which are just as good if not better than Destiny's child backing her up so that make her like Michael Jordan when they went 72-10. So in conclusion I think Jasmine is a better vocalist, and Beyonce' is the better performer, and would be more commercially successful. @JRobins32 choreography and just an overall stunning live production of her songs. She is however guilty of not giving all credit to where it is due. Some of the songs she has claimed to have written are in fact NOT her songs, but that's another matter. So commercially B is the top dog hands down because she brings more than just vocal talent. Speaking of which "the mommas" are just as good, if not better than DC so that helps alot with the live production.

I see comparisons between Jasmine and Beyonce'. Coming from a musical back ground at Delaware State University, I would choose Jasmine over Beyonce' in comparison because she has just a little more vocal talent than Beyonce' considering her range, tone, creativity and over all sound. To someone who is not musically trained they would choose B for the simple fact that B puts on a show like no other. @peaches5019...why are comparisons necessary? Is it not enough that both artists are recognized for the talents that they have? Jazmine is not Bey and

Bey is not Jazmine. One artist has nothing to do with the other so why do people like make it a point to compare. Bey is my ultimate favorite artist of all time but who cares?
