maybe our view of the model is slightly at a different angle than the artist. her face is too long. chin too pointed. sorry guy. i do portraits myself. haven't posted anything here on youtube yet. will. she looks young and your painting of her looks older. over all, it's good.

i thought the same thing until i saw his other portaits at the end. to me it seems, whether by accident or design, foreshortening of the head and extension of the face is the personal style of this artist. maybe not going for 100% realism? i dunno. either way solid work.

Firstly I'd like to say that the work, as a painting, is very satisfying and there is no doubt of the ability of the artist. However, I was waiting for the necessary correction to the length of the face, being far too long.
Portraiture is a process of continual correction and I found it a little strange that once the features had been lined in the artist thought that there was no need to make adjustments. That said liked very much the portraits that followed . Thanks.
