Music is from "Inside Man" soundtrack, by Terence Blanchard, Copyright WMG. With much thanks to them for not having my videos pulled, as I know you could have!

What do you do when you can't sleep? Go for a walk through the City of course!
I love the City of London - the financial district - at night. It is mostly deserted, steeped in history, and as such has a great atmosphere.
I went for a walk through it, deliberately trying to avoid main streets and favouring dark back streets, passageways, alleyways and a couple of graveyards!

I must apologise for the shakiness of the hand-held camera. I will have to get some kind of steadicam system if I am to do anything like this again - which is highly likely.

  • The soundtrack for Inside man is great but can't figure out who does the opening song "Chaiya Chaiya" anyone know? Great vid by the way! very brave of you, be careful though perhaps accompanyment would be suggestable or a large dog. I know London is even more fascinating at night as I have travelled at night, you know clubs and the like but never wandered on my own.

  • The song was composed by film composer A.R. Rahman, written by Gulzar, and sung by Sukhwinder Singh. It became extremely popular quickly upon release and its music video gained the same status, partly because it was filmed on a moving train. The Hindustani version of the song is called "Chaiyya Chaiyya", while the Punjabi and Tamil versions are called "Thaiyya Thaiyya".

All from Wikipedia - I know nothing!! There's a version on the soundtrack CD featuring Punjab MC. :-D

  • absobloodylutelyamazing!!! Nightgirl you are seriously talented - as others have said i hope you're pursuing some form of work in media - you're made for it! creepy, alluring, inspiring, scary, magical - thats what this and part 1 are - just brilliant!
