@macmusic08 and seeing how the bottom 50% only have 2.5% of the nations wealth right now I would say we are heading toward the direction of a ruling elite which is the fastest track to a dictatorship. Right now I think we rate 46th in the world in terms of income equality. We were never this low before. First its the poor then it will be you. But I guess as long as its not you it does not matter? And your stance that good people should leave the country is ... frankly retarded.

And on the extreme end of the spectrum liberals want complete income equality but mainstream liberals just want things like assistance for the poor, social programs, minimum wage increases and stuff like that. For me I would rather see the entire globe have equality than just one nation. If just one nation did it we would have to compete with slave driving nations so everyone would be miserable.

@josh1492 Btw, "Love it or LEAVE it" means: if liberals don't like the way America was designed, then they are FREE to move to any other country of their choice. However, they are NOT free to transform our entire system into this bizarre, socialistic utopia they dream of. Other countries have tried it and it always fails. if we ever actually set up income equality (which we never will) it wouldn't last 5 minutes in this country before people started screaming for a return to capitalism.

@josh1492 Income equality is one of the most insane ideas liberals have. Setting aside the fact that it goes completely against what this country is all about "Life, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness (not the GUARANTEE of happiness)....it would be impossible to achieve under our system of government. This is a Republic, not a dictatorship. We operate under a capitalistic economy where each person is FREE to pursue whatever they STRIVE to achieve. That's our system! Love it or LEAVE it!!

@macmusic08 Liberals generally want income equality while conservatives typically want as little government involvement as possible. Liberals favor social programs while conservatives may favor deregulation. I do think the Tea Party is a joke tho. And I would say that by my standards the democrats are pretty conservative...its not like they are promoting socialism I mean. Republicans are much more conservative and democrats are more liberal tho I think democrats need to be more liberal.
