Hi Mate good eh,in this clip Mark is using the first Alembic he owned in Birds Eye Maple as opposed to the later Quilt Maple bass he used to play.

If you look carefully the pick up selector switch located on the bottom cut away of the bass has been blanked off as Mark used to beat the shit out of his hand on it when playing.

Fantastic track. I love the 'Staring At The Sun' LP. Level 42 are very underrated. When I think of the shit that passes for music today it makes me cry! 'Man' is one of the most complex things they've done. I love the hip hop style beat for the end 'Hey, man sing the blues'! A classic! Thanks for posting!

Wonderful to have this, thanks.... I do think though by the way, didnt the 'late great (i agree)... have his first name spelt with a second  'a' Not, 'u'; so spelt 'AlAn Murphy'.I may be wrong. Best wishes.
